Biosite #2: Purpose

          In this semester of biosite, I chose to teach the kids about worms and their functions and how they help the earth. Both sessions of my group teaching the fourth grades went great. We had a really fun time teaching our groups and they seemed to have a great time and they also listened really well. It was great to interact with the kids because they got to learn outside of the classroom and got a hands on experience with learning about worms and all their functions.

          Unlike last time, this time at the beginning the kids were very interacted withe everything we were teaching and they looked as if they really enjoyed everything. Towards the end of the first day teaching the kids were a little crazy and definitely happy to be there. The second day of teaching went pretty much the same as the first except that the group of the day was a little more hyped to be there and learn. The kids enjoyed being able to play around with the worms for a little bit after learning about the worms from our picture that we made. I love working with the kids and seeing them be happy to learn.
